We are so excited to be hosting Local Author Beth Leipholtz to celebrate her book The ABCs of Inclusion: A Disability Inclusion Book for Kids. You may know Beth from social media, from her TikTok/Instagram/Facebook/YouTube handle beth_and_coop, and her experience as a “hearing mama raising a deaf child bilingually”. She wrote this picture book to talk about disabilities, and in the picture book you meet 26 real kiddos with diagnoses like autism, hearing loss, epilepsy, and Down syndrome. It teaches young readers that it’s okay to be different – in fact, it’s what makes us special!
